How is it already Thursday… and the 7th of November. I’ve wished for this time of the year… well, all year… and now I want time to slow down a bit so I don’t miss anything!
It’s gone by so fast that tomorrow I will share our Christmas decorating skills as our tree went up over the weekend and a picture or two of us getting our marriage license, which we will be picked up yesterday! Yup, time really needs to slow down!
Few countdowns are in place! San Antonio Half Marathon is only 4.17835 weeks away, and I couldn’t be more excited! I lost time during injury, but the past month has been solid and I still have 4 weeks to go! Hoping for a race to remember as I continue to build going into the Chevron Houston Marathon in January. Grateful for every mile.
Current Reading List:
I’ve been sharing a lot of the books I’ve been reading on Instagram and several of you have wanted to know some of my current reading list. ( I also have a list of several of my past favorites under MY GEAR )
Below are the links to purchase what I’m currently reading! I love an inspiring book. One I can read over and over again! Let me know if you’ve read or have other recommendations for more 🙂
- Once a Runner: A Novel
- Again to Carthage: A Novel
- Train Your Mind for Athletic Success: Mental Preparation to Achieve Your Sports Goals
- The Incomplete Book of Running
The other countdown of course is wedding, which is only 16 days away! Can you believe it?! Well, I can’t!
I love this girl more than she could ever know! She brings out the best in me, challenges me, inspired me and is always in my corner cheering me on! I am so beyond lucky to have found someone this incredible to navigate life with! She’s absolutely my perfect person!
I can’t wait to show you all my dress and pictures of the big day in a few weeks!
So, time for dinner and more to come tomorrow! I know I say this a lot, but going to get back to this daily blogging thing! So much to share!
Solid week of running so far. I have my A, B and C goals for the half in a month. Will be interesting to see what happens on fresh legs as even with the heaviness they have, they are making me very happy with workout results right now.
Any advice for some last minute wedding things we may be missing?
Are any of you running San Antonio? If so, we need to meet!
See you at the start line!
