6 Easy Saturday Miles + Our Wedding Dresses Arrived + Date Afternoon at La Cantera

6 easy miles to kick of Saturday! There was a slight breeze which was nice and made the 6 miles enjoyable!

Legs were a bit tight from Friday’s mile repeats at the track, but by mile 3 they felt pretty strong!

I didn’t take water with me as I didn’t want to carry anything and it was an easy 6. J also knew that there was a water fountain available at the start, mile 2.5 and the finish. I quickly regretted that, however, as the fountain water was hot! Lesson learned for future runs 🙂

There were so many runners and cyclists out. I lost count of how many good mornings and head nods I gave as I passed others on the trail. I love how friendly everyone always is and always puts an extra pep in my step!

I was excited to get the 6 miles knocked out as we had a message that our wedding dresses had arrived!!!!! We didn’t want to waste any time in picking them up so the plan was to head to SWAN BRIDAL as soon as I got showered and changed!

I loaded up a yogurt cup with grapes and granola and had a DELICIOUS chai latte (my new favorite Keurig cup) as I got ready.

We arrived early afternoon and were beyond happy to see our beautiful dresses. I wish I could tell you all about them, but it’s a secret until November 23rd! My dress was the first one I tried on, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

Catherine was so kind and all the wonderful ladies made it so memorable! If you are getting married, make sure you visit them for all your bridal needs!

Only 131 days until the big day! It sounds like a lot when counting down, but to think we tried on our wedding dresses 5 months ago, and we only have 4 more till the I Do’s is crazy! I’m a lucky girl 🙂

After we scooped up our dresses, we spent the rest of the afternoon/evening at La Cantera. We loaded up my forever bear from My favorite candy store several times (I get a refill a week and it had been months since we’d been) and I still think it was the best Christmas gift ever!

Lolli and Pops has the best candy selection! From old school to crafty things like chocolate wasabi peas, you can find anything your little heart desires!

We spent a lot of time at several stores trying things on, walking around catching up, and talking more things wedding.

One of our favorite stores is Altar’d State and we’ve loved it since we lived in Virginia.

Was such a good day spent with my girl and it seemed like it had been a long time since we had just walked around taken our time! What a fun day!

I hope you all had a great Saturday!
