Long Week + Giveaway + Sunday 5k + 26 Marathons Meb Keflezighi + Have you tried…

Good Evening!

I know that I’ve been off the radar this week. I’ve been pretty boring working 14 hour days with month end inventory, projects, etc at work until today. Haven’t ran and I haven’t had my salad mountains until 9pm at night. It’s a rough life. LOL

To get some excitement going, I have three copies of an amazing book to giveaway to three lucky winners! Thank you Penguin Random House as you and your team are always so incredible and kind! I’m so honored to be able to giveaway and share this incredible book about an extraordinary athlete and person!

ABOUT 26 MARATHONS

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A world-class runner and four-time Olympian shares the life lessons he’s learned from each of the twenty-six marathons he’s run in his storied career.

“An athlete whose wisdom and lessons aren’t just for runners.”—The Washington Post

When Meb Keflezighi—the first person in history to win both the Boston and New York City marathons as well as an Olympic marathon medal—ran his final marathon in New York City on November 5, 2017, it marked the end of an extraordinary distance-running career.

Meb’s last marathon was also his twenty-sixth, and each of those marathons has come with its own unique challenges, rewards, and outcomes. In 26 Marathons, Meb takes readers on those legendary races, along every hill, bend, and unexpected turn of events that made each marathon an exceptional learning experience, and a fascinating story.

26 Marathons offers the wisdom Meb has gleaned about life, family, identity, and faith in addition to tips about running, training, and nutrition. He shows runners of all levels how to apply the lessons he’s learned to their own running and lives. Equal parts inspiration and practical advice, 26 Marathons provides an inside look at the life and success of one of the greatest runners living today.

I’ve always admired Meb and he gives so much of himself to his fans! I met him several years ago and it was truly an honor!

I will announce the winner Monday evening… why not give Monday something to look forward to 😉

While at CVS tonight I found a really cool product shown above called trimino! I had never heard of it or seen if previously, but when I saw 0 sugar and toms of B vitamins AND 7 grams of protein, I had to buy. It was 2.49 for the bottle, but it was delicious. Had a twang to it like yogurt, but wasn’t a fake sweet nor did it taste like watered down flavor. I will definitely buy again!

I’m excited for the above 5k this weekend! I haven’t been at the track lately as it’s been trails until next weeks 50, but I’m excited to see where I’m at! I know last year there were 115 runners just in MY age group, so I’ll have my work cut out for me!

I’ve also been talking with my Coach, and will speak more on that in the coming days with fall goals and training! She’s a beast and very inspiring!

Has anyone tried But First, Coffee gummy bears?! You all know how much I love my caffeine and coffee… I need to try these now!

I also had this sent to me. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck… yup, this is totally what I do! However, coach told me I need to focus. Lol! More to come soon!

One more cute picture I have to share? A Bella look alike baking dog treats! I’m dying!

I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled programming and I hope you all have had an amazing week. Can you believe it’s almost May?!

See you at the start line!
